Why I got into Photography . Might not be as you expected !
Time to get into the nitty gritty & dirty details ( LITERALLY ) !
Growing up in Orange County California , You would expect me to be well ... a basic California girl ?
I am pleased to tell you that Yes ... Yes I am (:
Well sort of . I grew up in California , I went to college in California , I worked in California , I live in California but more specifically , I did all of this
in Cypress , Ca. I fully you would know where this is unless you live here yourself because it is a small town between all of the major cities of upper Orange County . It is quite small and everyone knows everyone in this city .
Until I met my husband , I didn't know much of anywhere else around me unless it was my main beach or my local mall .
Lets fast forward to HOW I GOT HERE .
My husband took me everywhere around Orange County , Riverside County , Joshua Tree , Barstow , Big Bear , LA County , San Diego .
Experiencing other places , and his passion for outdoor Motorsports brought me into another world and all I can say is that this small city
girl got a taste of a new and exciting life .
Even though I have always had some type of camera in my hand or painting or any type of artistic hobby , I never really took anything seriously UNTIL
we came across the idea of taking photos for Offroad races in Barstow , Ca. I went Full Throttle to say the least !
I'm talking real dirty ! Dirty trucks , dusty winds , nitty gritty working on our own cars for media photos .
It was so FUN !
Keep reading for my beginning & intermediate camera gear below !
Unfortunately due to California economy and the pandemic , I was not able to keep that dream alive . I was so sad in those days .
Having to keep my full time job just to get by was such a downer !
Eventually a family member asked me to take photos for their wedding and after that , word of mouth grew and it came to light that
maybe I could take photos for people instead . Now that I have been growing my business for a few years , I am still working full time
but ........ I KNOW I will be able to take this new found passion of mine solely full time .
Now that I am growing bigger , learning more , I get to share my experience with you ! My clients , My Friends and my fellow Photographers !
Lets learn with Sarah !
Check My Beginner Photography Gear that I started with to Learn more !
Beginning, I started with a very basic camera that did a good job in getting what I
needed for what I was doing and what I was learning . This kit is the way to go with brand
new photographers trying to learn first .
I upgraded and did extensive research on how to save THOUSANDS of dollars .
Intermediate photographers should ,in my opinion , start with a older but still amazing
mirrorless camera . Cannon EOS R It is a game changer !
For my Lense , Everyone needs a 24-70 mm to start . I opted for a cheaper version of the lense I wanted and did
a Cannon EF 2.8 Lense . PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make sure to buy the adaptor if you wish to opt for the
cheap option like I did that way your mirrorless body & lense can actually fit together .
Otherwise you just bought totally incompatible products to use .

I still use this version today to save money ! Hope this helps you in your new beginnings !
